Please see our calendar page for public events. To help with education and advocacy work, please email us. We welcome suggestions and volunteers!
Rainbow Artists
Rainbow Artists provides LGBTQ+ youth and allies with opportunities to explore and express their identities and values in a safe, supportive setting. We have two groups (ages 8-11 and ages 12-15) that meet weekly. Our facilitators lead the meetings with multidisciplinary expressive arts activities and conversation. These are not therapy groups, but rather opportunities to explore, learn, and gain insight through creative expression with a community of peers. Research shows that this can generate measurable improvements in mental and physical health.
Queering Adulthood
Have you aged out of youth services? Do you find yourself in the midst of adulting but not quite settled down? If this life stage (roughly early 20s to mid 30s) sounds like you, we would love for you to join Queering Adulthood!
At Queering Adulthood we do all sorts of fun activities, whether it’s sharing music, discussing queer identity or short meditation retreats. We are a friendly group and want everyone to feel welcome! Queering Adulthood is led by Alana who has a background in queer organizing and community building. Her favorite part about Queering Adulthood is the acceptance of neurodivergence and disability.
Celebrating LGBTQ+ Seniors
LexPride’s Celebrating LGBTQ+ Seniors program offers occasional activities to connect, express ourselves creatively, share stories, and have fun. We often collaborate with surrounding communities.
OpenToAll
Open To All is a campaign to build awareness about the importance of nondiscrimination laws—and to defend the principle that when businesses open their doors to the public, they should be Open To All.
LexPride created our local initiative to show that Lexington businesses and community organizations are Open To All. When you sign on, you will receive an Open To All window decal and a graphic to post on your website if you wish. We also offer free trainings for participating organizations and their staff.
PFLAG Parent/Family Support Group
LexPride is grateful to our partner, Greater Boston PFLAG, for facilitating a parent/family support group for people caring for LGBTQ+ children of all ages. The support group is a safe and welcoming space run by trained volunteers and filled with people who can offer support, answer questions, and link you to resources. Whatever information you share will be confidential.
For more information, visit this website or contact the facilitators.
